La Pension Francia is a small, budget establishment in the centre of Barcelona, close to the Ciutadella park and the upbeat, trendy Born district. Some of the Catalan capital's main tourist attractions such as the Santa Maria del Mar church, the historic port area (Port Vell)and the Barceloneta district and its beaches are a short walk from the hostel. Easy to get around on foot from this central location, with public transport links (metro and bus) also easily accessible. The Estació de França rail station, one of the main rail hubs in the city, is a short distance from the accommodation.
